Alan returns to County

Alan McDermott who departed County to join Dundalk at the end of last season will be returning to Station Road for the remainder of the season.

Alan who made a big impression on many fans when he played nine times for County towards the end of the 2005 season, signed yesterday and may take some part in the away game against Galway at Terryland Park on Friday.

The defender, who is 24 years old, came to the Thoroughbreds from Shelbourne at the beginning of the 2005 season.
