Kildare travel to Limerick tonight

John Ryan faces an uphill struggle in to night’s game against Limerick 37

As the stats below show County have not done too well against Limerick 37 or Limerick F.C. since their entry into Eircom League Football and with Limerick 37 on the proverbial “roll” - they defeated Dundalk last week by 2-0 in Oriel Park, it is going to be a very difficult assignment.

John may have to figure without Philly Gorman – ironically Philly scored the first ever goal for County against Limerick in Station Road in July 2002 (Picture above shows Philly celebrating his goal) - who has not trained this week. Philly is still troubled with a groin strain.

Otherwise John hopes to field an unchanged side
