Team News County v Wexford Youths
Kildare County host Wexford Youths at Station Road at 2pm tomorrow (Saturday) in their third last home outing of the season. John Ryan’s side will be hoping to reproduce the form that saw them cruise past Limerick 37 on their last home outing two weeks ago.
Results in the three league fixtures between the two sides have been close. County had a 2-1 away win in their initial meeting and the following two games finished all square.
Currently sixth in the table the Thoroughbreds will be anxious to gain every point possible in their remaining five games.
Their cause is not helped however by the absence of top scorer Philly Gorman, who is still on duty with the Irish Defence Forces team at the CISM World Military Games in India. Also absent is keeper Austin O’Neill (Shoulder) and Ian Malone (knee).
There are no other injuries or suspensions and on the good news side striker Ger Robinson has committed to the side for the remainder of the season.
Please note changed kick off time of 2pm.
